Boston Travel and Adventure Show 2019

My family & I had a wonderful time at the Boston Travel and Adventure Show on Sunday.

My daughter is 14 months old & she loved the Global Beats Stage & all the vendors that talked to her and gave her toys. She got a fan from the visit Korea booth and mini beach ball from The Jersey Cape.

The highlight of my day was riding a camel!!! Very cool bucket list activity.

After I road the camel, I watched our daughter, so Dave could make a s’more at the Camp Cody booth.

We had such a great time we’re already marking our calendars for next year: January 11-12th 2020

Same place, Hynes Convention Center in Boston

Hope to see you there!

Disclaimer: I received free admission to Travel and Adventure Show – all options are my own

Photo Blogging Challenge – Books

jan2019results

The theme for January 2019 Photo Blogging Challenge was books. I was overjoyed at this theme because I make sure reading is part of everyday life for my 1 year old daughter.

I have way too many photos to choose from, so I tried to get it down to the most interesting.

Mother Goose came to the Thomas Crane Library for storytime this month and it surprised Elise when she called her by her name.

(The woman playing Mother Goose is a children’s librarian that knows Elise through other storytimes.)

Excuse me Miss Anne – I’d like to see the book a bit closer please. Mind if I crawl over?

From storytime at the Scituate Library

Bonus: If you think all you’ll find at a library is books, you’re wrong!

Weymouth Library has the “PAWS to read” program that brings therapy dogs to the library for kids to read to. This poodle mix, Spencer, was awesome with my daughter petting her.

Hope you enjoyed my photos! Keep on reading. 🙂
