Photo Blogging Challenge – Summer Fun

The theme for the August photo blogging challenge was “Summer Fun”.

Summer has been so busy for me this year that not all the photos I’m going to feature were taken in August, but they were all taken by me in the summer of 2017.

The Tall Ships Festival came to Boston this summer and I watched the parade of sale from Castle Island in South Boston with my husband & in-laws.

We had a great day and a beautiful view!

I also joined my in-laws for a weekend on their vacation to Plymouth, MA.

This lobster was one of many on display – not far from Plymouth rock.

I took this art shot while waiting for a Bos Lady Project event to begin.

My birthday is mid-August (14th) and my in-laws surprised me with a cake and presents a few days early.

My cousin Michael celebrated his 2nd birthday in August with a firefighter themed party!

This amazing cake was made by his God-mom.
