Looking for a great place to get some relaxing Christmas gift shopping done?
I recommend Linden Square in Wellesley, MA.
I was lucky to be hosted by Linden Square for a blogger preview of their Shop, Sip, & Stroll event.
Huge bonus (that I didn’t even believe till I arrived) – there is free parking in a lot close by the stores!
I was very impressed by the local boutiques.
There really is something for everyone on your gift list. Check out the Linden Square Holiday Gift Guide.
Here’s a run down of my Shop, Sip, & Stroll experience:
We started at Roosters Men’s Grooming Center – where bloggers who were braver than me volunteered to shave a balloon
Roosters concept is a place for men to get a shave & hair cut in a space for them. More upscale than a barber & not a women’s beauty salon.
The shop was decorated for Christmas and I liked their tree.
Our next stop was Salon Maleah – to see a hair twist demo.
Linden Square is hosting an Elf on the Shelf contest – so I made sure to get lots of elf pictures during the day.
Next we were off to Tobey Grey Boutique (denim & women’s clothing) – I found an elf hiding
Our next stop was Ceri Boutique, where the owner welcomed us
I loved the dresses & accessories in this shop! I even found an elf hiding with some accessories
Next, we stopped at Pure Barre. I hope to head back to try out a class.
Then we were off to Sara Campbell
The “magic dress” looks great on the Sara Campbell staffer above – but I am skeptical that it would look as good on me. (I’m at least 10 sizes larger than her.) I stopped back at Sara Campbell after lunch to buy some Christmas presents.
The next stop was Magic Beans – a locally owned toy shop!
Magic Beans staff was wonderful! I returned to buy Christmas presents for my God-children and Ben made some great gift suggestions. (It felt like he was a personal shopper for me – which I really appreciated!)
Our next stop was a napkin folding demonstration at Bonsoir (a linens shop)
Then it was off to look at more cute kids clothing – at Kenzie & Tiny Hanger
I wanted to buy out all of the clothes at Tiny Hanger but my Godkids are 2 & 4 years old now, so they’re growing wicked fast.
By now, even the most seasoned shoppers among us were getting a little tired – so we headed to lunch at The Cottage
I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with place cards on the table with every bloggers name! Lunch was delicious!
Small world moment – the 1st two bloggers in this photo attended the same college I did – Emmanuel College in Boston.
We think that Emmanuel College Saints make great bloggers.
(I met my husband at Emmanuel & he’s become a blogger too!)
Here I am – farthest from the camera
After lunch, we headed to one last stop, Impulse – always make time to look at jewelry!
It was a whirlwind of a day – but a fun one!
I was able to cross a few names off my Christmas gift list with post stroll stops back at some stores.
I’ll definitely be back to shop Linden Square soon.
