Active Networking – MassBio Walking Tour

Wednesday was a booked day for me.

I had 2 networking events to attend: MassBio‘s walking tour of Kendall Square in Cambridge followed by Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Boston’s “Nerding Out to Get Ahead: Changing the Way We Think About Changing the World“.

The walking tour of Kendall Square was great and very informative!

(In the past I was a fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society so curing MS is a cause close to my heart)

After getting a cold water post walking tour, I headed back to the T to get to the YNPN Boston event in the Theater District of Boston.

We had a great discussion of “overhead”, compensation for nonprofit CEOs, and measuring the impact of nonprofits work.

Then it was a walk back to the T to get home – resulting in a step count of 10,064 for the day.

I hope more groups join in on the active networking trend.
