On Friday, July 3rd, my in-laws and I headed out to Franklin to play disc golf at Dacey Field. (Disc Golf is also known as Frisbee golf. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, check out my previous post on Disc Golf.)
It was my 1st time playing the Dacey Field course and I had fun.
It was an 18 hole course and volunteers had great signs marking the tees.
They also had a hilarious hole that was suspended in mid air.
I was very rusty since I hadn’t played in a year and came in last out of the 5 of us playing, but I still had fun. (There’s also a dog park at Dacey Field, so I got to see some dogs too.)
I think my husband put the experience best when he said, “I like disc golf. It’s like a competitive hike in the woods.”
Between disc golf & walking to the Quincy farmers market earlier in the day, I got in 10,237 steps for the day – about 4.28 miles. Woo-hoo!
