Boston Brunch Runners – Castle Island

BBR7.13.14I’m in the back row – on the left, wearing a green November Project shirt & my husband Dave is to my left!

November Project is an amazing group of people!

They’ve spawned some spin off groups of members who like to get in workouts over the weekend, including Boston Brunch Runners.

On Sunday morning at 9 AM (thankfully later than the 6:30 AM November Project starts) my husband Dave & I met up with the Boston Brunch Runners for a walk/run loop from Pleasure Bay to Castle Island in South Boston.

We had a great time and ran/walked a 1.8 mile route.

Sadly, we had to act like adults and go food shopping instead of sticking around to enjoy a beach day and picnic with BBR.

Elin, the group organizer, is the guy with his arms spread wide in the photo above. He’s wicked friendly and welcoming. When he hugs you – he usually lifts you off the ground. I was fine with this but it totally caught my husband off guard. 🙂

I’m looking forward to future workouts with BBR!
